Position Summary



As a Tax Manager on the foreign position management team, your major responsibilities will include:


  • Review, design, and execute planning transactions

  • Track tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's effective tax rate

  • Ensure that foreign positions are consistent and in compliance with all laws and regulations across Koch Companies

  • Oversee and manage the completion if the US foreign tax credit and Form 1118

  • Build and develop relationships across the Koch companies to understand and optimize the various business tax positions


A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:


  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate results to team

  • Leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of a broad range of international corporate tax matters such as Foreign Tax Credits, Subpart F, an Forms 5471 and 1118

  • Understanding of US international tax attributes - earnings, profits, tax basis, tax pool, etc.

  • Ability to model impact of potential repatriations and the effects on the US effective tax rates

  • Ability to proactively innovate, create, and drive change


Required Qualifications


  • 4+ years in an income tax role

  • 3+ years in an international role

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Taxation) or a JD

  • Position not eligible for VISA Sponsorship


Preferred Qualifications


  • Masters degree in Taxation or JD

  • Previous CPA firm or multi-national corporation experience

  • 4+ years of experiencewith foreign tax credit and international tax rules
