Perspectas Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.


Perspecta has an immediate need for a Sustainment Program Management Analyst to support the Systems Engineering and Technical Services (SETS) program we have with the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NESDIS is responsible for the procurement of new flight and ground systems and the modification of existing systems needed to operate the satellites, and to collect, process, distribute, and store satellite data for the nations civilian environmental satellite (spacecraft and sensor) program. These systems include computers, communications, Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and the associated hardware and software, as well as build, maintain and upgrade the physical infrastructure (e.g., facilities) supporting the satellite mission.

The NOAA SETS Project Management support team member will:

  • Support to the legacy NOAA Ground Systems Sustainment PMO:
  • Provide PMO support to PETD/C3 for ongoing DSCOVR and POES sustainment projects to include:
  • Coordinate meetings,
  • Generate and update monthly PMR/PSR/QPR/CWIP charts as well as associated Risk and Milestone charts. The Active Risk Manager (ARM) tool is used
  • Collate information and maintain Google project drives; NOAA uses Google drives, mail, etc
  • Review and edit acquisition documents (PWS/SOW), technical documents and presentations to IRMAC, IT Summit and Integration and Executive Council.

The Programmatic Sustainment Planning duties will include:

  • help track and analyze FY Sustainment Funding requests;
  • propose and execute process improvements;
  • align and report results to ACIO IT Summit process;
  • update 5-year sustainment plan budgets with approved funding;
  • track and audit monthly financial reporting from Resources Division against project/program execution;
  • respond to data calls;
  • produce briefs in response to action items and division requests.
  • Track document generation and ensure transfer into government configuration management systems and formats.


  • Requires a BS degree and minimum of 6 years experience, or MS degree and 4 years experience.
  • Requires program office experience with NASA or NOAA programs.
  • Requires US Citizenship and eligibility for US Government Security Clearance
