Directly lead and develop the Global One on One team to deliver world class service to all attendees and associates. Ensure first class execution and forward-thinking product development are applied constantly by the team to aid client retention and business growth, while still delivering a globally consistent and world class level of service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a management team who have global direct reports, responsible for the Gartner One-on-One meetings and the Gartner Expert experience for all global conferences.
  • Ensure an exceptional experience for all conference attendees having a One-on-One meeting with a Gartner Expert.
  • Manage the global process for Expert calendar management with the team ensuring a seamless conference experience.
  • Build relationships with Program Management, Research, and content teams to understand the agenda impacts for Expert meetings and how analyst time is being utilized.
  • Perform capacity planning and forecasting to ensure there is adequate Expert resources to meet attendee demand.
  • Collaborate with Program Management team on Expert budget management, tracking additional Expert resources that might be needed in addition to the set budget.
  • Data analysis to develop strategies to optimize the Gartner One-on-One experience with intended outcomes of increasing capacity, aligning the right attendees to the right analysts, and reducing attendee no-show rates.
  • Work globally ensuring the One-on-One program and experiences are consistent across all regions.
  • Ensure the teams are managing the regional and team mailboxes ensuring all internal and external queries have been answered in a timely manner
  • Support internal and external escalations around Gartner One-on-Ones and Executive Program Team Meetings.
  • Measure One-on-One results across the business in order to ensure client feedback is the highest priority in enhancements.
  • Track enhancements of scheduling system, and work with technical team on improvement prioritization and testing.
  • Manage staffing of One-on-One planners and supporting RES team globally for Summits and Symposium to ensure we have enough staff to provide the best customer experience.
  • Build productive relationships with internal and external clients, helping to support and train Gartner associates on the scheduling system.
  • Effectively communicate, collaborate and maintain relationships with clients and team participants.
  • Work with the operations team on space and other requirements for the One-on-One program and Expert workrooms.
  • Evaluate new trends and processes within the business looking for collaborative ways to improve attendee experience

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years overall business experience
  • 3+ Years Management Experience
  • Proven Conference Operational & People Management Responsibility
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills that will provide the ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Must be self-motivated, articulate, and creative and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Effective at building relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to manage a global team, including remote employees
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective collaboration with colleagues around the world.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and appreciation of technology
  • Ability to travel
