MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Schedule inbound and outbound freight, load and unload freight cars, and count raw materials for inventory purposes. Position requires use of a computer/computer screen, accurate data entry, and keyboarding/mouse skills. Visual acuity is required to read box labels overhead for inventory accuracy. Physical activities described below are required of this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all procedures and SOP's for the Warehouse and the Production areas.
Be aware of hazardous materials in the area and the proper handling of hazardous materials. Awareness will be achieved through training, MSDS review, safety meetings, and toolbox meetings.
Be aware of, understand, and follow emergency procedures.
Report all spills or other environmental incidents following EHS protocol.
Work in such a manner as to prevent environmental incidents and if asked, to participate in investigations of environmental incidents.
Enter data and provide paperwork required to maintain an efficient warehousing system.
Minimize waste and prevent pollution to protect the environment.
Perform inventories of raw materials and production products.
Follow all procedures concerning and the unloading of railcars, and loading and unloading of trailers.
Perform all aspects and duties of a Warehouse Attendant as needed or assigned.
Stretch Wrap and stack all products in the warehouse in the correct manner and without damage.
Perform duties in an efficient manner without damage to company equipment and furnishings.
Schedule inbound and outbound freight in the absence of the supervisor.
Constantly monitor & provide standard housekeeping duties - Keep work area clean.
Perform assignments according to standards-stay in assigned work area.
Follow work instructions and provide/receive constructive feedback from others.

High school diploma, GED certification preferred; however, three to five years experience in warehousing systems, logistics, fork truck driving, inventory manage or data entry could substitute for a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to locate information on an electronic data base of controlled documents, procedures, training, etc.; ability to focus on details for long periods of time; internal and external customer service is required.
Understand the principle of customer satisfaction, and the capability of meeting those needs.
Attention to detail is a critical factor in successful performance of this job.
Understanding of distribution procedures and general knowledge of the production process.
Effectively utilizes available computer tools, including Excel, Word, Oracle, SFA, and Outlook.
Must have good organization, communication, and excellent follow-through skills.
Exercises good judgement in evaluating situations and problem solve at the line and in a team environment.
Ability to teach and train others.
Ability to standing, bending, walking, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crawling, balancing, reaching overhead.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.;Ability to ascend/decent ladders and stairs.
Ability to climb in and out of mobile equipment consistently.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to stand for a sustained period of time throughout a 12 hour workday.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to engage in shift work
Position requires the certification to operate mobile equipment. The certification process requires passing a physical, drug screen, and forklift training class.
The position requires the employee to be trained in the use of walk behind type lifts. The employee must pass both a written and driving test.

Teamwork, positive communication with others, and team problem solving are required. Written communication must follow CSI standards and values. This position requires frequent verbal and written communication with all employees and management at the facility. In some cases, the position may require communication with freight providers and truck drivers.

-The incumbent helps provide a safe work place by assisting in developing, promoting and following practices which prevent injury and meet legal safety requirements.

-Expected to coordinate efforts with employees working on shifts other than your own.
