The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment. This person is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Best Buy. This individual will work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, work independently yet collaboratively, demonstrate strong detail orientation, have the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.

What you will do:
Responsible for providing an exceptional candidate experience by communication with candidate throughout entire process, hosting candidate while on campus for interviews and welcoming candidate on first day
Schedule interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for candidates. Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiencies
Update candidate records in recruiting systems and provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
Responsible for initiating and monitoring pre-employment screening processes and creating offer package
Responsible for onboarding duties such as new hire paperwork including I-9 documentation

Basic qualifications:
Degree or previous experience in customer service
Comprehensive knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:
Previous experience in HR or Recruiting
Previous applicant tracking system experience
Ability to influence without authority
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, ability to prioritize and be confidential
Ability to interact at multiple levels, including applicant facing
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
