The Product Design studio at Bose is a dynamic and energetic environment that continually seeks to challenge our views about customer experiences. We work on a diverse portfolio of products from consumer electronics to enterprise and health products. We are looking for a Structural Packaging Design Co-Op to help us deliver best in class product experiences working closely with Industrial Designers, User Experience Designers, and our User Research team.

OPPORTUNITY

Support the Industrial Design team in developing new packaging designs focusing on elevating the consumer experience and meeting timeline and budget commitments. Packaging is often the first touchpoint a customer has with a brand. It's a sequential and performative experience that requires attention to detail.

Work collaboratively with Industrial Design, Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing teams to ensure quality execution of new packaging designs.

Create handmade protypes as well as rapid prototyping to bring concepts to life.

Assist in developing an understanding of current packaging trends and manufacturing techniques in applicable industries.

SKILLS

Enrolled in an Industrial Design program

CAD and 3D modeling skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills

Strength in developing and improving processes to gain efficiencies and outline clear responsibilities

Basic understanding of packaging construction techniques
