The Administrative Analyst position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is a critical role that provides functional support to our Human Resources and Inclusion personnel and the tactical implementation of people focused solutions and services. It requires the ability to leverage interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills to provide transactional support for solutions that drive business value and a people focused culture. This role supports programs within the HRI disciplines of talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, employee relations, and information systems.


Performs specialized or confidential administrative duties, including the research, computation, and review of intermediately complex data for use in preparing reports and completing projects.

Provides general administrative support, to include scheduling, meeting planning, making travel arrangements,

routing/distributing mail, data entry, transcribing, proofreading, photocopying, scanning/imaging, preparing documents, and filing.

Under the direction of others, assists in preparing and/or revising communications, including proposals, reports, and presentations. This activity may include updating and maintaining information databases.

Participates in and performs the most basic analytic tasks to assist advanced level professional staff with financial and examination related activities, projects, and reports.

Under the direction of others, assists in the analysis and development of business functions, applications, and processes in support of Department and FRS initiatives.

Under the direction of others, evaluates existing processes and procedures across the department and makes improvement recommendations and revisions. May provide support in the delivery of rudimentary instruction to process users.

Establishes and applies basic quality measures to ensure data integrity of routine work performed by advanced level professional staff.

Participates in Department, Bank or FRS project teams and work groups; complete special assignments as needed.

Provides work direction and/or training to new and less-experienced employees.

Performs other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned.
