Boise Cascade is seeking an Ethics & Compliance Manager to join the Legal team at headquarters in Boise, ID. Previous experience with managing compliance processes for a publicly held company is preferred. This role will provide leadership and guidance for all compliance activity in the company.   • Design, implement, update, and maintain the company's Compliance Program, as necessary. The Compliance Program will be maintained and updated annually to ensure accessibility and compliance with applicable laws and statutes.
  • Develop an annual work plan that includes identifying areas of risk that will provide for the on-going development and implementation of the Compliance Program.
  • Lead efforts to integrate the Compliance Program into the company's culture and operations.
  • Apply project management discipline to all company-wide privacy and compliance initiatives, including appropriate documentation and tracking reports.
  • Lead project teams in implementing complex, cross-functional privacy and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in active role in cross-functional teams implementing other company initiatives to ensure privacy and compliance are designed into the process and to provide for best practices.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the Compliance Program.
  • Responsible for oversight of Compliance training and communications across the company.
  • Develop, execute, and manage data privacy programs, including data inventory and third-party compliance requirements.
  • Analyze data and prepare executive reports.
  • Monitor external trends and changes required related to privacy and compliance training and communication.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' work experience in ethics, compliance, legal, and/or regulatory program management.
  • Self-motivated leader willing to develop and set vision for program activity.
  • Ability to successfully partner and influence others in decentralized organization.

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Human Resources, or similar.
  • Previous work experience with publicly held company known for it's ethics and reputation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experienced in providing presentations/analytics to senior leadership.
