**JOB DESCRIPTION**



Payments is a key function for Bank of America. The development and design of a new commerce platform that will deliver merchant services capabilities is integral to the Banks future as a leader in the payments business. The Platform Management team is responsible for the complete end-to-end design and implementation of the target commerce platform which will deliver customer focused payments processing capabilities.



**Areas of responsibility included:**



+ Ensure commercial alignment with reseller model products.

+ Collaborate and plan all aspects of project plan with business development team, procurement, and legal to structure and negotiate partner agreements.

+ Establish strong, effective cross functional partnerships with other departments throughout organization (Business Development, Technology, Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Launch) to define and establish reseller products.

+ Partnering with Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies for the product launch.

+ Support sales team in development and communication of business plans, product literature, proposals, and client timeline and as needed.



**_Planning_**



+ Executing NDA, Defining the Scope of Integration, Partnership terms, Schedule A terms (pricing), and Hardware Deployment Process.

+ Technology Assessment: Determine how the product can integrate with the bank's platform.

+ Hardware Deployment Process: Determine how Bank of America will deploy hardware components of the product.

+ Collect PCI and EMV documentation to verify that the product is compliant with Bank of America and industry requirements.



**_Develop_**



+ Determine the target client segment for the product.

+ Develop an understanding of the target buyer for the product.

+ Develop an understanding of the target user for the product.

+ Develop business and technical requirements to support the product/vertical.

+ Determine content to add to the Developer Center to assist large merchants during the integration process with the product

+ Request and monitor needed tech changes

+ Operations Process Support and Tools.

+ Work with the Bank of America Global Information Security team to perform information security due diligence on the product and the ISV.

+ Work with Business Controls/Risk to complete the Universal Change Risk Assessment and New Product Assessment to assess the risk of reselling the ISV product.

+ Digital Boarding and Application (SB): Work with Technical Product managers to determine merchant application and onboarding requirements to support the product.

+ Request and monitor needed tech changes

+ Process for product activations and merchant training:

+ Determine client activation process for product

+ Develop training materials to assist merchants during the activation process

+ Develop Go to Market Materials



**_Qualify_**



+ Set up and configure internal and external systems for Beta Testing.

+ Beta Planning & Execution:

+ Complete Alpha Test

+ Define successful Beta criteria

+ Identify Beta Clients

+ Beta Feedback Process: Establish communication lines and cadences with beta clients.



**_Launch_**



+ Develop effective training materials to empower operations front-line units to support the product.

+ Develop and socialize timeline to prepare the product for general availability.



**_Maximize_**



+ Executing Agreement Extension/Termination/Modification.

+ Determine when to extend, terminate, or modify the agreement to resell.

+ Plan ISV products future enhancements.

+ Disseminate changes the ISV plans to make to its product.

+ Referral & References

+ Determine how to handle incoming (acquiring) referrals

+ Identify clients willing to act as references

+ Manage the relationship between the bank and the ISV providing the product.



**Required Skills:**



+ Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
