A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
Responsible for making outbound collection call and receiving inbound calls from customers on accounts past due 31 days and providing back up to Customer Care when dictated by volume (as secondary priority). Further, regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines for the business.

  • Start Date March, 9th 2020
  • 5 Week paid training class - M - F / 8 am - 5:00 pm
  • Compensation: $17 - $21 hourly (based on experience) Unlimited commissions
  • Full benefits available the 1 st of the month after your start date
  • Hours of operation following training: Monday - Friday / 8 hour shifts / between the hours of 5 am - 9 pm while working every other Saturday (4 hours within a 40 hour work week)

Primary Accountabilities

  • Must be able to ask appropriate fact finding questions and provide accurate loan updates/ statuses
  • Must enact negotiation skills to identify payment problem and offer solutions
  • Must discuss delinquency resolution and loss mitigation alternatives
  • Must update customer information as required by polices and regulations
  • Must make outbound calls to past due customers and document accounts
  • Must receive inbound calls from customers and document accounts
  • Must follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Documented experience in customer service, sales, and/or collections required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Preferred:
  • Minimum of 1 year call center experience
  • Experience with Call Center technologies systems
  • Mortgage Loan Servicing experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Language Ability
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Ability
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
