We have an exciting opportunity as the Business Head for the Pharmacy and Specialty Businesses in the Americas Wholesale Team.

Our group strives to be the top-rated supplier to our retail customers in delivery of Innovation, Business Planning and Marketplace Excellence. As the Business Head, your will be responsible for developing the Pharmacy distribution strategy to achieve the growth and market-share objectives of the Health product category in the Americas, and develop thereto related business standards, tools and systems to run a profitable channel. Further, you will be responsible for executing the Wholesale strategy with Military, Travel, Apple, Department store accounts within the Americas to achieve sales growth and profit targets. Key resellers include CVS, Walgreens, Shoppers Drug Mart, Apple, Nordstrom, and InMotion.

In this role, you'll report into the VP of Global Wholesale. You'll coach and lead five senior Account Managers and you will play a critical role in the Global Wholesale leadership team.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO

Pharmacy Distribution Channel Specifics

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Pharmacy distribution strategy for the Sleep- and Hearing product categories (Health) and Consumer Electronics relevant categories. Beginning with CVS and Walgreens.
  • Define the long-term strategy that is based on the Bose category and product plans and aligns with category and sales leadership.
  • Determine the viability of proposed strategic concepts through rapid prototyping and testing.Scale the business where successful results are achieved.
  • Utilize data and insights to sell concepts and plans internally and externally.
  • Lead and manage all business elements of setting up a new channel, including; instore and digital experience, forecasting, allocation, order automation, store, contract set up etc.
  • Create insights in the effectiveness of new go-to-market strategies and share learnings to improve the profitability and execution of the Health category across all Pharmacy businesses.

All businesses
  • Create detailed annual growth plans for the business unit in line with the Wholesale strategy for Consumer Electronics and Health products.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the unit and define how to address them.
  • Achieve the revenue, cost, and direct gross margin objectives of the business unit.
  • Define cost-to-serve budget for the business unit as it relates to sales, store and digital experiences and sales support activities.
  • Develop structure and standards to day-to-day business and sales management; including leading the annual business plans set up and execution process (ABP and ABP-lite).
  • Ensure team effectiveness and engagement levels across the business unit. Including but not limited to; meeting effectiveness, prioritizing business needs, travel optimization, workload etc.
  • Ensure new product launch and promotion plans are developed and executed at account level.
  • Assess sell-in and sell-through dealer performance and advise Account Managers to take action where needed.

YOU HAVE DONE IT BEFORE

You have at least ten years of experience from a mix of sales executive, business development and category management roles. You have experience from the US consumer health industry, preferably from either Unilever, P&G, J&J, Philips medical, GSK, Pfizer, Bayer or similar companies. You have got experience from leading a sales team at either CVS or Walgreens and you've got proven experience managing cross functional teams. You have a bachelor's degree in business management or similar.
