The Budget and Finance Manager is responsible for the day to day management of all the School of Computing and Information (SCI) budget and fiscal related activities, including payroll oversight. General responsibilities include:

- Developing and monitoring all SCI operating budgets

- Monitoring and reconciling budgetary reports for all operating accounts,

- Reviewing and approving all expenditures, reports, disbursements, and cost transfers for SCI budgets and accounts

- Conducting complex financial analyses and developing comprehensive financial reports

- Organizing and preparing budget analyses, datasheets, reports, and projections on a regular and ad-hoc basis

- Monitoring all purchasing functions and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency

- Serving as the School "trainer" for the PRISM GL, purchasing systems, and the internet procurement system

- Supervising the Payroll and finance teams

- Addressing all budget inquiries as requested Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline, with three to five years of fiscal management experience, including supervisory and senior level work experience.

Confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical. Strong accounting and financial skills and knowledge of the University's operations are essential. Excellent communication skills are required along with the ability to manage workflow with tight deadlines. Ability to be flexible with assignments and to multi-task is imperative.

Master's degree (MBA) preferred. Three to five years fiscal management experience, including supervisory and senior level work experience. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
