Job Description
Under the direction of senior marketing management, develop, implement and manage marketing plans, promotions, trade shows and other marketing/sales strategies developed for the market segments.
  • Assist in implementation of comprehensive marketing plans and promotional programs for the organizations products, services, or designated marketing sectors. Tasks may include supporting product and service development, implementing pricing, and collateral creation.
  • Assist in supporting key relationships and projects with specific customer groups within a designated marketing sector. This includes managing implementation details, forecasting, pricing, product creation, inventory monitoring, and other daily tasks of any product related to the identified specific customer groups.
  • Assist in creating and delivering training programs for sales reps and follow up with them to ensure timely and efficient field support. May deliver training to sales reps.
  • Under the direction of senior marketing management, develop and implement promo planning tactics against milestones established, work with the sales leaders and creative team to achieve a successful promo.
  • Travel with sales forces to support efforts to educate and convert customers to purchase Medline products and services. Provide timely follow up to sales forces by answering product questions.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree.
Relevant Work Experience
  • Previous experience working with data mining programs (i.e. Sales Menu, Business Objects, etc.).
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales.
  • Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree.
